21 Days of Prayer DEVOTIONAL

Day 1 – GO BIG in Trust

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5–6

Trust is the foundation of every faith journey. Before we talk about big prayers or bold action, we must decide where our confidence truly lies. Trusting God means leaning fully on Him, not partially, and surrendering control even when the outcome is unclear. God does not ask us to have all the answers—He asks us to place our whole heart in His hands. When trust becomes our posture, God promises to direct our steps with clarity and purpose.

This year, GO BIG by trusting God with every area of your life. Trust Him with your future, your family, your finances, and your faith. Trust is not passive—it is an active decision to believe that God is good, faithful, and working even when you cannot see it. As these 21 days begin, choose to start from a place of full surrender.

Day 2 – GO BIG in Prayer

Scripture: Jeremiah 33:3

Prayer is how we partner with God. It is not a last resort, but our first response. God invites us to call on Him with confidence, promising to respond and reveal things beyond our understanding. Big prayers reflect big faith and a deep belief in who God is. When we limit our prayers, we limit our expectation of what God can do.

Going BIG in prayer means praying boldly, consistently, and expectantly. It means bringing God both our needs and our dreams, trusting Him with the details. As a church, when we pray together with faith, we create space for God to move in powerful ways. Let these days be marked by courageous, faith-filled prayer.

Day 3 – GO BIG in Believing

Scripture: Mark 9:23

Belief unlocks possibility. Jesus reminds us that faith positions us to see God’s power at work. Believing does not ignore challenges—it chooses to trust God in the middle of them. Too often, past disappointments or fear of failure shrink our faith. God invites us to believe again.

GO BIG this year by believing God’s promises over your circumstances. Believe for healing, restoration, breakthrough, and salvation. Faith grows when we intentionally place our trust in God’s Word rather than what we see. Ask God to strengthen your belief and remove anything that hinders your faith.

Day 4 – GO BIG in Vision

Scripture: Habakkuk 2:2–3

Vision gives direction and purpose. God is a God of vision—He calls His people to see beyond the present and prepare for what is ahead. Vision requires faith because it often stretches us beyond what feels comfortable or achievable. God’s vision may take time, but it will always come to pass.

As a church, GO BIG by praying for clear vision and unity around that vision. Ask God to align hearts, strengthen faith, and provide wisdom for the journey ahead. Trust that what God has spoken will be fulfilled in His perfect timing.

Day 5 – GO BIG in Trusting God’s Timing

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:11

Waiting seasons test our faith, but they also deepen it. God’s timing is never rushed and never late. While waiting, God is often working behind the scenes—shaping our character and preparing us for what’s next. Trust grows when we learn to rest in His timing.

GO BIG by choosing patience over frustration. Trust that God sees the full picture and knows exactly when to act. What He has promised will be accomplished at the right time and in the right way.

Day 6 – GO BIG for Our Pastors

Scripture: Hebrews 13:17

Pastors carry a spiritual responsibility that often goes unseen. They pray, lead, guide, and care for God’s people while carrying the weight of vision and decision-making. Scripture calls us to support and pray for our pastors because their strength impacts the health of the church.

GO BIG by covering your pastors in prayer. Pray for wisdom, protection, endurance, and joy. Ask God to guard their hearts, refresh their spirits, and bless their families. A prayed-for pastor leads with clarity and strength.

Day 7 – GO BIG in Peace

Scripture: Philippians 4:6–7

God invites us to bring every worry and concern to Him in prayer. Peace is not the absence of problems, but the presence of God guarding our hearts and minds. When we trust God fully, anxiety loses its grip.

GO BIG by choosing prayer over worry. Release what you cannot control and receive God’s peace. Let His peace rule your heart, your home, and your decisions.

Day 8 – GO BIG in Reaching

Scripture: Matthew 28:19–20

Reaching people is central to God’s heart. The Gospel was never meant to stay within the church—it was meant to be shared. Going BIG means stepping outside of comfort and trusting God to use us to impact others.

Pray for boldness, compassion, and divine opportunities to share Jesus. Believe God for salvations and life change as the church reaches outward with faith.

Day 9 – GO BIG in Compassion

Scripture: Colossians 3:12

Compassion reflects the heart of Christ. Jesus was moved by compassion, and it compelled Him to act. Compassion allows us to see people through God’s eyes and respond with love.

GO BIG by allowing compassion to shape your actions. Ask God to soften your heart and make you aware of the needs around you. Through compassion, lives are touched and doors are opened for the Gospel.

Day 10 – GO BIG in Obedience

Scripture: Deuteronomy 28:1

Obedience is one of the clearest expressions of trust in God. When we obey, we are declaring that we believe God’s way is better than our own, even when it feels uncomfortable or costly. Obedience often requires us to step beyond logic, preference, or convenience and respond to God with faith. Throughout Scripture, God consistently connects obedience with blessing—not as a transaction, but as a reflection of alignment with His will.

This year, GO BIG by choosing obedience in both the seen and unseen areas of your life. Obedience in small moments builds spiritual strength for bigger moments. As a church, when we walk in obedience together, we create room for God to move with power and clarity. Ask God to reveal areas where He is calling you to say yes more fully.

Day 11 – GO BIG for Leaders

Scripture: James 1:5

Leadership carries weight. Every decision leaders make impacts people, direction, and spiritual health. Whether leading ministries, teams, or small groups, leaders need wisdom that goes beyond human understanding. God promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask, and prayer positions leaders to hear God clearly and lead faithfully.

GO BIG today by intentionally praying for every leader in the church. Pray for discernment, unity, humility, and courage. Ask God to protect their hearts, guide their decisions, and strengthen them for the responsibility they carry. When leaders are covered in prayer, the church is strengthened and equipped to move forward with confidence.

Day 12 – GO BIG in Giving

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6–8

Giving is not simply about finances—it is about trust. When we give, we acknowledge that God is our source and provider. Generosity shifts our focus from what we have to what God can do through what we surrender. Scripture reminds us that God loves a cheerful giver and promises to supply what we need as we give faithfully.

GO BIG in giving by allowing generosity to shape your heart this year. Pray for faith to give willingly and consistently, believing that God multiplies what is released in obedience. A generous church is positioned to meet needs, expand vision, and impact lives far beyond its walls.

Day 13 – GO BIG in Serving

Scripture: Mark 10:45

Jesus redefined greatness through service. He showed us that true leadership is found in humility and sacrifice. Serving is not about recognition or position—it is about reflecting the heart of Christ. When we serve others, we participate in God’s work and help build a healthy, thriving church.

GO BIG by serving with joy, faithfulness, and excellence. Ask God to strengthen those who serve and stir hearts to step into service. As a church, when we serve together, we demonstrate God’s love in tangible ways and create environments where lives can be transformed.

Day 14 – GO BIG in Unity

Scripture: Psalm 133:1

Unity is powerful and precious to God. Scripture tells us that God commands blessing where His people dwell together in unity. Unity does not mean uniformity—it means choosing love, grace, and humility over offense and division. The enemy seeks to divide, but God calls His church to stand together.

GO BIG by committing to protect unity within the church. Pray for healed relationships, clear communication, and hearts that seek peace. When unity is present, God’s presence is magnified and the church moves forward with strength and purpose.

Day 15 – GO BIG for the Next Generation

Scripture: Psalm 145:4

God’s heart is deeply invested in the next generation. Children and youth are not just future leaders—they are part of God’s plan right now. Passing faith from one generation to the next requires intentional prayer, example, and spiritual investment.

GO BIG by praying for children, students, parents, and leaders who serve the next generation. Ask God to protect them, ignite spiritual hunger, and root them firmly in truth. Believe God for a generation that boldly follows Jesus and lives out their faith with confidence.

Day 16 – GO BIG in Healing

Scripture: Jeremiah 30:17

God is our healer and restorer. He sees every place of pain, loss, and brokenness, and nothing is beyond His ability to heal. Healing may come instantly or through a process, but God is always faithful to restore what has been wounded.

GO BIG by believing God for healing in every area—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Bring specific needs before Him in prayer, trusting His power and compassion. As a church, when we pray for healing together, we testify to God’s restoring grace.

Day 17 – GO BIG in Freedom

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:17

Freedom is found in the presence of God. Where His Spirit is at work, chains are broken and lives are transformed. God desires His people to live free from fear, shame, addiction, and anything that keeps them bound.

GO BIG by believing God for deliverance and breakthrough. Pray for freedom over yourself, your family, and the church. Trust that God’s Spirit brings lasting freedom and leads us into wholeness.

Day 18 – GO BIG in Joy

Scripture: Nehemiah 8:10

Joy is not dependent on circumstances—it is rooted in the faithfulness of God. Even in challenging seasons, joy strengthens us and reminds us of who God is. The joy of the Lord provides endurance for the journey.

GO BIG by choosing joy daily. Ask God to renew your joy and restore hope where it has faded. A joyful church reflects confidence in God’s goodness and draws others toward Him.

Day 19 – GO BIG in Faithfulness

Scripture: Galatians 6:9

Faithfulness requires perseverance. It means continuing to pray, serve, give, and believe even when results are not immediate. God sees every faithful step and promises that perseverance will produce a harvest in due time.

GO BIG by committing to consistency this year. Ask God for strength to remain faithful and patient. Trust that obedience over time leads to spiritual fruit and lasting impact.

Day 20 – GO BIG Expecting More

Scripture: Ephesians 3:20

God is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine. Expectation stretches our faith and positions us to receive what God wants to do. When we expect more, we acknowledge that God’s power is not limited by our understanding.

GO BIG by lifting your expectations in prayer. Believe God for miracles, growth, and transformation. Trust that He is working in ways beyond what you can see.

Day 21 – GO BIG All Year Long

Scripture: Psalm 20:7

These 21 days are a starting point, not an ending. GO BIG is not just a theme—it is a commitment to live with bold faith, generous hearts, and obedient lives. Trusting God daily leads to lasting transformation.

As you move forward, commit to carrying this posture all year long. Continue praying big, believing boldly, reaching intentionally, giving generously, and serving faithfully—confident that God is worthy of your trust.

If you want tone adjustments only (not length), or want this prepared for print or sharing, say exactly which one and I’ll follow it precisely.

Prayer changes things. Prayer changes us. PRAYER WORKS!

If you ever get to a place in your life where you feel like something is missing, it's probably a connection problem: you are disconnected from God and too connected to the world. Prayer and fasting can have a powerful impact on setting your life back on track. Prayer connects us to God.
